Re-entry is a critical transition that can feel overwhelming, isolating, and uncertain. Our Re-Entry Counseling services are designed to support individuals returning to the community after incarceration by addressing the emotional, psychological, and practical challenges that often accompany this transition.
We provide trauma-informed, person-centered counseling that helps clients adjust to life after incarceration, manage stress and emotions, and build the skills necessary for long-term stability and success. Our clinicians understand the unique impact of justice involvement and work collaboratively with each individual to create a realistic, strengths-based path forward.
In 2023, our agency was awarded a contract with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections to provide no cost counseling services to individuals on state probation and/or parole. Through this contract, we deliver individual therapy, group therapy, and alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment, supporting successful community reintegration, compliance with supervision requirements, and long term stability through evidence based, trauma informed care.
Each individual receives an individualized treatment plan tailored to their needs, goals, and supervision requirements. Counseling may be provided individually or in group settings and can be delivered in person or via telehealth, depending on eligibility and availability.
Our approach emphasizes accountability, personal responsibility, and growth—while recognizing the systemic barriers and personal challenges individuals may face after release.
Successful re-entry impacts families and communities. When appropriate, we incorporate family support and referrals to additional services that strengthen relationships, improve stability, and reduce the risk of recidivism.
We believe re-entry is not just about avoiding reincarceration—it is about healing, rebuilding, and creating sustainable change. Our Re-Entry Counseling services are grounded in dignity, respect, and the belief that with the right support, individuals can successfully transition, reconnect with their families, and thrive in their communities.
Re-entry can be challenging, but support makes a difference. Reach out today to schedule an intake, ask questions, or connect with services designed to help you move forward with confidence and stability.
